# Incoming Student Checklist

## Over the summer, you'll be asked to complete a number of tasks to help the College determine your housing assignment, academic advisor, and much more.

#### Class of 2030 Dates and Deadlines

A list of deadlines will be available in May on your my.harvard Incoming Student Checklist. **Students should log in to my.harvard starting in May for the most accurate list, and to view any upcoming deadlines.**

- **Move-in:** Note that there are three move-in dates based on confirmed pre-orientation programs. Do not reserve non-refundable plane tickets until you have been confirmed your specific move-in date in mid-June. Learn about [what to bring to campus](/what-bring).
- **Immunizations:** Submit your [immunization information](https://huhs.harvard.edu/new-students#gsc.tab=0) as soon as possible. Note that you cannot register for classes with an immunization hold on your account.

Below you will find a summer timeline that provides a general outline of major dates and deadlines:**\***

**✓ May 1, 11:59 p.m.—Deadline to enroll at Harvard**\
✓ Submit photos and verify information for your Harvard ID card\
✓ Update contact information for yourself and family members\
✓ Complete Housing and Academic Advising questionnaires\
✓ Register any accessibility needs with the Disability Access Office\
✓ Apply for Pre-Orientation programs, if desired

##### JUNE

✓ Take placement exams\
✓ Submit immunization records\
✓ Receive your move-in date

##### JULY

✓ Submit final transcript and official ACT/SAT scores(if required)\
✓ Elect or waive student health insurance\
✓ Begin online orientation

##### AUGUST

✓ Review your housing assignment and roommate information\
✓ Complete summer reading and learning modules\
✓ Pay fall term bill\
✓ Move into your first-year dorm\
