### **First-Year Social Committee**

The [First-Year Social Committee (FYSC)](https://dso.college.harvard.edu/fysc-members) is made up of first-year students dedicated to building community through fun and inclusive programming. From big campus traditions to smaller social events, FYSC helps you connect with classmates and make the most of your first year.

You may host a gathering in your suite or in a Yard Common Room. Be sure to talk with your roommates and proctor in advance about your plans.

The FYE loans items free of charge to first-year students to use during their free time:
