### A degree in East Asian Studies can take you most anywhere!

Some of our graduates continue toward an MA or PhD degree to pursue careers in teaching and research, but the majority find jobs in consulting, finance, business and international trade, tech, government service, law, medicine, media, the arts, and more.

With the extraordinary dynamism of East Asia today, knowledge of the region and one or more of its languages is hugely attractive to employers. Even if your professional future is not in East Asia, graduating with a degree in EAS demonstrates to potential employers that you are a well-rounded person with initiative, curiosity, perseverance, and cultural experience.
