## Dean’s Student Advisory Board

The Divisional Office of Arts & Humanities is excited to announce the revival of the Dean’s Student Advisory Board, which will reconvene this coming fall. This Board will serve as a space for thoughtful, engaged students to share feedback, raise concerns, and offer ideas directly to the Dean. Its purpose is to strengthen communication between the Dean’s Office and undergraduates and to ensure that student perspectives help shape the future of Arts & Humanities at Harvard.

### Goals

- **Identify and Prioritize Student Concerns**\
  The Board will conduct periodic surveys and focus groups with Arts & Humanities students to gather feedback on coursework, advising, facilities, and the overall student experience. Members will have the ability to bring student concerns and issues directly to the Dean.
- **Strengthen Communication Channels**\
  Members will help review newsletters, announcements, and event updates to ensure clarity and engagement. They will also act as liaisons, sharing information with peers through student groups, social media, and informal networks.
- **Support Recruitment and Yield Efforts**\
  The Board will contribute to panels, Q&A sessions, and other outreach opportunities for admitted or prospective students. Members will also provide feedback on divisional communications, including the website and social media.
- **Promote Enthusiasm for Arts & Humanities**\
  Members will work to increase the visibility of courses and programs and share their enthusiasm for the Division with current and future students.
