Lina Tori Jan is Assistant Director of the Harvard Foundation. She brings extensive experience in program strategy, social impact policy, and student development. Lina previously led Georgetown University’s *Onward for Afghan Women* initiative and served as an external advisor to the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan.

Lina has led high-impact initiatives recognized by the UN, U.S. government, and major foundations — raising millions of dollars in funding, scaling global programs, and providing strategic counsel to senior leaders. 

Lina was formerly Assistant Director of the Harvard College Women’s Center, where she supervised a 15-person team. She is a Fellow in Values Engagement with the Edmond & Lily Safra Center for Ethics. Raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, Lina holds a MPP from the University of Oxford and a BA in Leadership Studies and Political Science from the University of Richmond.
