With over 20 years of experience in leadership, nonprofit administration, and community engagement, Ashé Brooks-Cook is a deeply committed advocate for social and racial justice. His career has been guided by a steadfast belief in the power of restorative justice and equity-centered work to transform communities and institutions.
Ashé currently serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the Office of Culture and Community, where he supports inclusive programming and coordinates events that promote belonging, dialogue, and community celebration. Over the course of his career, he has directed workforce equity initiatives, supported international development programs, and cross-functional teams.
His dedication to grassroots empowerment is rooted in decades of nonprofit service, where he has championed educational access, job readiness, and youth and family development. His global perspective has been shaped by both international service and advanced graduate study in International Affairs, Management, and Public Engagement.
Ashé also actively serves in volunteer leadership roles focused on land access, food justice, and community organizing. His work is driven by a deep commitment to amplifying marginalized voices, advancing racial equity, and building sustainable, people-centered systems.
