Yonsei, warming the community through sharing

To realize Yonsei University’s educational goal to “foster creative global leaders with principles to serve others,” Yonsei’s social service is aimed at serving as a venue for education and practice where the leadership to serve others is realized based on the understanding of humans.

Educational Service

• Yonsei Hope Expedition delivering dreams to educationally deprived areas
• Yonsei Dream Major Conductor (YDMS) providing information on majors and careers
• YNBLUE providing mentoring service and introducing academic majors to high school students
• Dream Start Plus supporting learning and character education of teenagers in Seodaemun-gu

Community Service

• Seum providing home to neighbors having trouble with excessive housing cost and poor housing conditions
• Warm Day X Yonsei University Center for Social Engagement donating coal briquettes
• Plogging at Mangwon Hangang Park

Facility and Campus Service

• Volunteer work at Euncheon Child Welfare Center
• MIRAL X Yonsei University Center for Social Engagement, “Lighting Children” campaign and “Campus Sharing” campaign

Medical Service and Overseas Service

• Ah-Woo-Rin providing hospice service for pediatric cancer patients at Severance Children’s Hospital
• Euichung providing clinic service and performing medical service activities for the vulnerable
• Overseas service through World Friends Korea
