Spring (in May)

Around the second week of May, the Daedongje(대동제), Yonsei University's biggest festival, is held for three days. The Daedongje Festival is filled with various programs centering on the student council, the club association, and each college student council. There are exciting festivals here and there in Baekyang-ro, including band performances, festivals, exhibitions, performances, sports competitions, bars and mini-games run by the department.

Autumn (in Sep/Oct)

Yonsei University and Korea University compete in rivalry events such as "basketball, soccer, baseball, ice hockey, and rugby" every Autumn. Depending on the host school, it is called Yongojeon(연고전) or Goyeonjeon(고연전). Witty placards are hung near Sinchon, Yonsei University, and Anam, Korea University, even before the games! A heated cheering match that lasts throughout the game!

Don’t forget to wear [royal blue] colored clothes to support the team Yonsei!
