ARC Application ARC Extension Part-time Jobs
Alien Registration Cards (ARC) Application
- All non-Korean nationals who are newly enrolled at Yonsei must apply for an Alien registration card within 90 days from the entry date.\ All international students MUST hold a D-2 visa (student visa) to maintain student status. If some students have other visa types, they must apply for changing visa type by visiting the immigration office within 1 month from their entry date.\ Please note that this is the student's responsibility to take all matters related to international affairs such as visas and alien registration cards (ARC). The GIT office cannot make visa/ARC applications on behalf of students.\ Please apply for it as soon as possible. You can get the card a month after you apply.
Common Required Documents
① Passport(with a copy of the pages containing personal information and visa on the passport)
② Application form [Form download]
③ 1 colored photo (3.5cm x 4.5cm)
④ Application Fee: KRW 30,000 (Government Revenue Stamp (additional) : 50,000)
⑤ Documents to Prove Place of Residence (거주확인서 또는 기숙사거주증명서)
Certificate of Residence (for Dormitory residents); or any proof documents such as Lease Contract, Certificate of Accommodation, Advance Notice on Expiration of Stay, Utility Bill Payment Receipt, etc.
As for the certificate of residence, you can download it through Yonsei Portal > Academic Information System > Academic Management System > School Life > Songdo Dormitory > Certificate of Residence.
If you have problems while browsing the dormitory certificate, please contact the dormitory administrative office (Dorm D #113).
⑥ Certificate of Attendance (재학증명서)
You can print out your certificate of attendance through Yonsei Portal > Login with your Student ID > [Online Certificates & Transcripts] menu.
