At the threshold of a profound societal transformation driven by advances in artificial intelligence, Yonsei University is committed to cultivating world-class talent to lead a human-centered AI era.

We are living in an era of profound transformation, in which rapid innovations in digital technology are fundamentally reshaping the structures and order of society as a whole.

Since its founding in 1885, Yonsei University has, for more than 130 years, cultivated talented individuals by responding to the calling of each era.\ Building upon this rich history and enduring spirit, the College of Computing was established in March 2022, marking another significant step forward as Yonsei University embarks on a new journey toward the future of our community and humanity.

Grounded in foundational education in software and artificial intelligence for all students, the College of Computing aims to nurture world-class talent capable of leading the human-centered era of artificial intelligence through interdisciplinary education and research.\ To this end, the College operates close collaborative education and research programs with diverse academic disciplines across the University, while actively partnering with outstanding universities both in Korea and abroad to achieve global excellence in education and research in core and convergent fields of computer science and artificial intelligence.

These achievements will extend beyond academic excellence alone. In response to the rapidly evolving industrial landscape, we will expand industry–academia collaboration with leading domestic and global enterprises, strengthen workforce reskilling and upskilling initiatives, and actively support practical research and entrepreneurial endeavors in cutting-edge fields by members of our academic community.\ Through these efforts, we aspire to grow into a university that makes tangible contributions to society and industry alike.

We will dedicate ourselves to ensuring that the College of Computing becomes a central driving force behind Yonsei University’s new leap forward and a vibrant intellectual hub that illuminates the future of the global human community. We kindly ask for your continued interest and support.
