Overview
To praise the virtue of the first President of Yonsei University, Yong Jae Baek, Nak Jun, and to follow on his life’s commitment to Korea’s higher learning, an award was dedicated to his name. The ‘Yong Jae Academic Award‘ is given to a group of individuals who have achieved excellence in the study of Korea or other related fields. The ‘Yong Jae Chair Professor’ is a system where an accomplished professor who has retired for less than three years is invited to lecture at Yonsei University.
