1. Dual Degree Programme: Master of International Public Policy

(1) LANGUAGE:Conducted entirely in English.

(2) DEGREE TO BE AWARDED:Master of International Public Policy

(3) ENROLLMENT MODEL:

Important Notes:

a. Students must complete 48 credits at GSIS and 30 credits plus a thesis at OSIPP. 24 credits at GSIS will be converted to 10 credits at OSIPP, and 26 credits at OSIPP will be converted to 24 credits at GSIS. Most courses at OSIPP are two-credit courses. A thesis option at GSIS is discouraged for the participants in this program.

b. Students can complete the degree requirements for both schools in two years (four semesters), but if they spend an extra semester at GSIS to complete the thesis for OSIPP, they will be assigned tuition-free “graduated” status at GSIS.

2. General Information

(1) NUMBER OF STUDENTS TO BE ADMITTED: 1 student / year

(2) ELIGIBILITY:

(3) SEMESTER START: April each year

(4) FEES:The nominee pays the application fee, admission fee, and tuition only to the home university.

(5) NOMINATION PROCEDURE:

Submit following documents to GSIS office for nomination. Candidates will be reviewed by GSIS first, then if nominated, will be reviewed by OSIPP.

a. Complete application form

b. Research proposal (1600 words, max.)

c. Official transcripts (both graduate and undergraduate)

d. Copies of diploma (both graduate and undergraduate)

e. Certificate of English proficiency

f. Letter of recommendation
