### Vision

Yonsei University’s School of Integrated Technology: A Leader in Research-Oriented Interdisciplinary Education
The School of Integrated Technology at Yonsei University’s College of Computing was established in March 2011 at the International Campus in Songdo, Incheon, with a focus on education and research through interdisciplinary integration. The school aims to cultivate global, convergent leaders by fostering horizontal convergence across various scientific and technological fields—including information technology, electronics, nanotechnology, biotechnology, and energy—as well as vertical convergence with fields such as humanities, social sciences, arts, and design.\
Notably, the School of Integrated Technology was selected for Korea’s ICT Elite Talent Development Program, a government-supported initiative in collaboration with industry and academia. Over a period of 10 years, this program has established a premium undergraduate and graduate education system.\
Additionally, in line with the Korean government’s policy to nurture talent in advanced fields, the school has expanded its enrollment capacity starting from the 2025 academic year, introducing a new Department of Intelligent Semiconductor Technology. The school now operates two majors: the existing Department of Integrated Information Technology (20 students) and the newly established Department of Intelligent Semiconductor Technology (35 students), continuing its leadership in cutting-edge interdisciplinary engineering education and research.

### Research-Oriented Undergraduate Education and Graduate Program Integration

The School of Integrated Technology at Yonsei University fosters creative and interdisciplinary talent in cutting-edge fields through an accelerated, research-focused education program that integrates a three-year undergraduate curriculum with a four-year combined master's and doctoral program. Each year, we select 55 outstanding undergraduate students and 30 exceptional graduate students, providing them with personalized, one-on-one instruction from dedicated faculty members to create an innovative, research-driven learning environment.\
Through this approach, we cultivate future leaders in convergence fields who possess both practical skills and creative thinking. Our graduates go on to excel as university professors, researchers, entrepreneurs, and R&D planners, becoming key global talents who lead future industries.

### Education, Research, and Innovation in Advanced Convergence Technology

Yonsei Science Park (YSP), being established on Yonsei University's International Campus, is set to become an IT-bio convergence innovation cluster integrating education, research, healthcare, and industry. At the heart of this pioneering initiative, the School of Integrated Technology leads the way in innovation, undertaking various large-scale projects at the forefront of technological advancement.\
The faculty of the School of Integrated Technology spearheads and successfully executes multiple national flagship projects, including the Semiconductor Specialization University Project at the undergraduate level, the BK21 Intelligent Semiconductor Innovation Talent Development Program at the graduate level, the Core Technology R&D Workforce Training Program for Future Automobiles, and the Next-Generation Communication Cloud Leadership Development Program.\
Additionally, Yonsei University's International Campus is home to South Korea's first and the world's second university-operated quantum computer, IBM Quantum System One. Leveraging this cutting-edge technology, the school drives innovation across various fields, including IT, semiconductors, mobility, next-generation communication, and biotechnology.
