## Conference presentations
Students are encouraged to submit abstracts, papers, and presentations to relevant academic conferences. If your paper is accepted and you are presenting at the conference, [the URO offers stipends](http://www.cmu.edu/uro "URO stipends") to off set travel and lodging costs, up to $350.
