Carnegie Mellon University Africa is the only U.S. research university offering its master's degrees with a full-time faculty, staff, and operations in Africa. The location offers three graduate degrees through Carnegie Mellon’s top-ranked College of Engineering: **Information Technology**, **Electrical and Computer Engineering**, and **Engineering Artificial Intelligence**.
In each program, students have the option to select a concentration. A concentration allows a student to select their coursework in order to focus their learning in a specific area of expertise. Students can further strengthen their concentration knowledge by selecting an internship, practicum, and/or research in the same area as their concentration
