Structured PhD Programs

The largest structured PhD program is offered by HBIGS (Heidelberg Biosciences International Graduate School). In addition, several research institutes offer PhD programs for their own students. Specific information can be found on their websites. The affiliated institutes offer graduate programs that also meet the requirements of the Faculty of Biosciences.

The largest structured PhD programme is offered by HBIGS and provides excellent research opportunities and comprehensive academic and complementary training in a vibrant and stimulating scientific environment. The institutes COS and ZMBH make use of the HBIGS programme.
