# The Faculty

The faculty is responsible for the organisation of research and teaching in the fields of Chemistry, Geography and Earth Sciences.

The chemistry degree programmes are offered jointly by the Institutes of Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry. Teaching in geography and geosciences is covered by the Institute of Geography and the Institute of Earth Sciences.\
In the areas of research as well as in teaching there are several interdisciplinary collaborations with other working groups, institutes and centers within the university and outside.
