# Research Research networks

The Faculty of Life Sciences is internationally networked and our staff cooperates with numerous other scientists and research institutions at home and abroad. Beyond the level of individual cooperation, we participate in multiple projects in research consortia funded by a wide range of donors.

### Collaborative Research Centers

CRCs are university research institutions with a duration of up to twelve years in which scientists and scholars work together on innovative, interdisciplinary research projects.

FORs

### Research Units

Research Units are nationwide research networks of outstanding academics from several universities and research centers working together on a specific research theme.
