# Directions How to find us

**General Inforamtion**

**By car:** Coming from the A 5, change to A 656 to Heidelberg at motorway junction Heidelberg; coming from the A 6, change at motorway junction Mannheim.\
**By train to Heidelberg main station:**\
Heidelberg can be reached via the Deutsche Bahn intercity connection. For timetable inquiries see Deutsche Bahn.

**Most of the faculty's research facilities are located in the Neuenheimer Feld.**

**Neuenheimer Feld**

**By Car coming from the Autobahn:**\
Turn left towards "Chirurgie" at the end of the Autobahn. Having crossed the Neckar on Ernst-Waltz-Brücke turn left to the institutes.\
**By Car: Coming from Neckargemünd:**\
Follow Uferstraße, then turn into Posseltstraße; having turned left into Jahnstraße or right into Berliner Straße, finally turn left to reach the institutes.\
**Public transport from Heidelberg main station:**\
Take tram lines 24 and 21 (directing to Handschuhsheim)\
or use bus line 31 going to Neuenheimer Feld (departing at the University Square (Universitätsplatz)).
