### CATS Library
The **Library at the Centre of Asian and Transcultural Studies (CATS)** accommodates the collections of the [Centre for East Asian Studies](https://www.cats.uni-heidelberg.de/library/collections/#ea), the [South Asian Institute](https://www.cats.uni-heidelberg.de/library/collections/southasia.html), [Anthropology](https://www.cats.uni-heidelberg.de/library/collections/anthropology.html), and the [Heidelberg Centre for Transcultural Studies](https://www.cats.uni-heidelberg.de/library/collections/#hcts). Holding some 600,000 volumes and many other resources, CATS Library belongs to one of the largest Asian collections in Germany and Europe. Discover the extraordinary legacy of Pu Quan (1912–1991), a compelling figure in modern Chinese painting. The exhibition invites visitors to follow his inspiring journey from imperial prince to proletarian artist. Complementing Pu Quan’s works are painted fans created by Heidelberg students during a hands-on course with Hengjin Aisin Gioro, Pu Quan’s granddaughter.
