Past selection cut-off criteria (Auswahlgrenzen) provide information on the average Abitur grade (for bachelor’s applications) or the points score in the selection process (master’s applications) as well as the waiting period required to gain a place in restricted admission programs in previous semesters.

This allows you to estimate your chances of being selected when applying. This information cannot, however, determine your acceptance or rejection, as grades, points, and waiting times for the upcoming semester cannot be predicted.\ The publication of the number of study places per degree program can be found in the "Festsetzung der Zulassungszahlen" https://www.tu.berlin/en/go4328/

The allocation of study placements for bachelor’s degree programs is based equally on the average Abitur grade and waiting periods.\ \ The cut-off criteria or numerus clausus (NC) apply to all bachelor’s applicants with a German university entrance qualification as well as nationals of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway with an international university entrance qualification.\
