Dear students,
this digital mentor will support you mainly during your first semester at TU Berlin. But it also provides suggestions and help for self-help in critical situations throughout the rest of your studies. It contains tips, information, downloads, video and podcast episodes which give you ideas to solve a problem, or insights to a certain study related topic.
You can find content for the following topics: "Starting Your Studies", "Meeting people", Studying", “Exams” and "Career Paths".
How does StudyGuide support you?
This is a digital mentor. You can read the entire website, or use selected parts only - depending on your needs. For some subject areas we provide studying technics, or downloads to help you test a working technic, e.g. our planning template to structure your weekly schedule especially during the exam periods.
Other areas of the website provide explanatory texts, including suggestions for next steps to be taken. For most of the subjects we also provide links and contacts for offers on campus. So the content of StudyGuide varies, depending on the subject area.
All subjects areas have in common that they will support you through the small and bigger challenges of your studies! If - at some point - our help for self-help is not enough to get through a critical period, please contact the Academic Advising Service. We will sort your situation together and define next steps of support.

The StudyGuide website, along with its search tool and the filter tool for TU advising services, is a project by the Academic Advising Service in collaboration with the Quality Usability Lab. Several others have contributed to website and content: ZEWK, student groups of Faculty IV at TU Berlin who have made search tools their lecture and project commitment. Thank you very much!
