The General Study and Examination Regulations of TU Berlin (AllgStuPO) contain the rules and regulations which apply across all degree programs. These address topics such as enrollment, re-registration, part-time studies, leave of absence, termination of studies, and examinations.

Additionally, there are study and examination regulations specific to each degree program (StuPO) which go into more detail than the general examinations and provide information about a program’s structure, curriculum, final thesis, etc.

There are supplementary application and admission regulations (ZZO) for master’s programs, which lay out the requirements for admission to the respective study program.

Below is a list of all the study and examination regulations. You can filter this list by degree program, type of degree, and year the regulations were published. The application and admission regulations (ZZO) are part of the study and examination regulations and can be found in the same document.

Prospective students: Please always refer to the most recently published regulations for your selected degree program.

Students: The most recent version of the regulations available at the time you begin your studies is the version applicable to you. If any changes were subsequently made to the regulations (amendments/additions), they are included in the respective file.

Important note: Only a small number of regulations have been translated to English so far. In case of inconsistency between the German and the English version, the German version of the agreement prevails.
