# Application for a half-orphan’s pension / orphan’s pension

Do you have an application for a half-orphan's pension or orphan's pension that needs to be completed by TU Berlin?

Then you can submit the full application to us.

Please note that there are currently delays in the processing due to increased inquiries. We kindly ask you to refrain from further inquiries regarding the processing status. Thank you for your understanding.

There are two ways for you to apply:

**1. Submit by [e-mail](#) (your e-mail must contain at least the following information and attachments):**

- Online fillable application
- ID card/passport (Please make sure you mark your ID card as a copy. You may black out all data except your full name and date of birth).

**2. Submit by mail in paper form** to the offices ofthe [Bachelor team](https://www.tu.berlin/en/studierendensekretariat/bachelors-application-enrollment) or [Master team (icl. PhD)](https://www.tu.berlin/en/i-a-office-of-student-affairs/masters-application-enrollment):

Please send us the corresponding application in paper form by mail. As soon as we receive your application in paper form by mail, we will fill it out and return it in paper form directly to your postal address stored in your tuPORT. Please make sure that your mailing address in your tuPORT is always up to date.

- If you are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, please send your application by mail to the Bachelor team:\
