Students can be enrolled in two degree programs at the same time: either in two degree programs at TU Berlin or in a degree program at TU Berlin and a second degree program at another German university.

However, you can only be enrolled in a second restricted admission degree program, if your enrollment does not prevent other applicants from enrolling in the degree program as their primary first degree. You can enroll in two master's programs at the same time as this does not prevent other students from enrolling for their first degree.

If you are enrolled in two degree programs at the TU Berlin at the same time, this is a Doppelstudium.

If you are enrolled at another university in Berlin or Brandenburg, you can additionally enroll in another degree program at TU Berlin. This is called Mehrfachimmatrikulation (multiple enrollment).

NC = Numerus Clausus/degree program with restricted admission // DoSV = dialogue-oriented service procedure

If you are enrolled or would like to enroll in two degree programs at TU Berlin at the same time, it is a so-called Doppelstudium. Please note the possible combinations of study programs (see table above).

Information about applying, registration and enrolling in a TU Berlin degree program is available here.

If you wish to enroll at the TU Berlin and at another university in Berlin or Brandenburg, then you must specify at which university you are exercising your membership rights. The semester fees are only payable at this university. The university at which you exercise your membership rights and pay the semester amounts at the same time is your main university (Ersthochschule). You will become a Haupthörer*in (degree-seeking student) at your main university.

You can use the multiple enrollment option to enroll in another degree program at the secondary university. However, you can only be enrolled in a second restricted admission degree program, if your enrollment does not prevent other applicants from enrolling in their first degree. You are not required to pay any semester fees to the secondary university, but you must show that you are enrolled at the main university.
