To enroll in a higher degree semester, you must fulfill the necessary requirements as well as submit your application in full and on time to be admitted. Once you have been admitted, you can enroll.
If you are applying to a higher degree semester in an open admission bachelor’s program and have a German university entrance qualification certificate, you can simply submit the enrollment application.
To register/apply, you need a degree semester placement, which you can request from the relevant examination board. With the degree semester placement, you can then apply for the higher degree semester.\ If you are classified for a higher semester for which there are no courses available in the application semester, admission or enrollment in the next lower higher semester will be considered as an alternative.
