You will receive an enrollment certification from TU Berlin confirming your enrollment at the University. You can download and print it out yourself in your TU-portal (tuPORT) when you open the app "Study & Teaching" and select "Notices and Certificates". You can download a German or English-language version of the enrollment certification.
Every enrollment certification contains an individual verification code which can be used to check the authenticity of the certificate. You can enter this verification code online to check the certification.
Also use your enrollment certificate to prove the validity of your student ID (e.g. for student discounts).
In your TU-portal (tuPORT), when you open the app "Study & Teaching" and select "Notices and Certificates" you can also obtain a certificate of study progress, i.e. a certificate of study for all semesters spent at TU Berlin.
You can only print out certificates of enrolment for the semester for which you are re-registered. So if you have already re-registered for the coming winter semester in the summer semester, you can also print out the certificate of enrolment for the winter semester. You can select the relevant semester using the filter symbol in the "Notifications and certificates" app.
If you are successfully enrolled or re-registered, you can download the certificate of enrolment in your TU-portal (tuPORT) when you open the app "Study & Teaching" and select the app "Notices and Certificates".
Please make sure that you have selected the correct semester or academic year in the "Notices and Certificates" app. Certificates can only be created for the semester(s) set and only for semesters in which you are or were enrolled.\ \ To change the semester in the "Notifications and certificates" app, click on the funnel symbol above the "Academic period" column and select the desired semester (multiple selection is also possible).
Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that you receive the error message "No PDF found" after clicking on the certificate. Please close the pop-up window and click on the download symbol again. As a rule, the certificates can then be downloaded without any problems. If you continue to have problems, please clear your browser cache and close the browser before trying again. Alternatively, please try another browser.

Please note that we will only be able to reissue contribution receipts from the summer semester 2020 onwards. Earlier semesters must be verified with your own bank statements.
