04/04/2025
From now on, please only submit medical certificates.
You are welcome to use the TU certificate, in which case you do not need to submit the application for withdrawal from a registered examination.
For all other medical certificates, please also submit the withdrawal form.
Please submit the medical certificates exclusively to your responsible examination team, not to your examiners.
The following content requirements apply to a medical certificate confirming your inability to take the examination. These must be observed by the doctor.
- Certificates of incapacity for work will not be accepted. A certificate of incapacity for work is not a certificate of incapacity for examination.
- The certificate must state the specific reason for the impairment. The symptoms resulting from the illness and their effects on the student's performance must be stated. The aim is to explain why participation in the specific examination or the current continuation of a thesis is not possible.
- Effective withdrawal from an examination is only possible if the symptoms are disclosed.
