Third-party funding may not exactly be everything, but it is essential to the success of many innovative research projects. However, it can often be difficult to find the right program. Technische Universität Berlin provides active support measures to help its researchers find the right calls for them among the many offered by German funding programs. The Research Promotion Section is the first port of call for all researchers interested in German funding programs, whether federal, state, or institutional. The Research Promotion team can also help you with the process of submitting an application for funding or conducting a project.

ELFI – the ELectronic Research Funding Information System helps researchers find the right funding measure for them. The ELFI database evaluates and provides information on all calls published by the European Union, German federal and state ministries, project funders, foundations, and companies as well as all the various relevant databases. Anyone interested in obtaining funding can search through financing programs offered by some 5,000 organizations.
