This housing type is suitable for you if you want to live alone or with your partner in your own flat. It is also suitable for you if you have small children - you can either live here alone with your children, or with your partner and children.

The housing comes with a closet, but is otherwise unfurnished.

## Kitchen

The housing has a simple kitchen. The design and size may vary between units.

You need to get provide your own kitchen equipment, such as pots, plates and cutlery.

## Appliances

The housing comes with a stove and refrigerator. A dishwasher is not included, and it is not possible to install one either.

## Private bathroom

You have your own bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.

## Laundry

There are connections for a washing machine in the bathroom, where you can install your own washing machine.

You have your own external storage unit.

## Construction work near Sofienberg Student House

Oslo Municipality will upgrade the public water and sewage pipes in Skjelderups gate and Sverdrups gate.

The work will start in spring 2025 and is expected to be completed by summer 2026.

There may be short periods of water outages during the works. These will normally last less than 6 hours and should be notified in advance.

The work will cause inconveniences such as reduced accessibility, construction traffic, noise, vibrations, dust, possible odours, and temporary brown water from the taps. Blasting work will be carried out in certain areas along the route.

When renting student housing through SiO, the Tenancy Act §11-2 on student housing applies. This means you have fewer rights as a tenant, compared to renting other types of housing.
