Why we have a privacy policy

Our vision is to create a better everyday life for all students. In order for SiO to be able to deliver the best possible service offer to the students, there will be a need to collect, use and store personal data about the students.In addition, some of SiO's services are open to others than students, and these will likewise be necessary to have registered personal information about. SiO's employees are a third group where personal data will be registered with SiO.The overall guidelines for how SiO must collect, use, store and secure personal data are given in SiO's privacy policy.

Use of cookies

In SiO, we use cookies to record how you use sio.no, so that we can improve our websites and make them easier and better to use.

Camera surveillance at SiO locations

SiO has camera surveillance in connection with our student houses, in storage areas, laundries, roof terraces and other common areas, and at SiO Athletica training centres. The purpose is to ensure the safety of residents and customers, and to prevent unwanted incidents from occurring.Locations with camera surveillance is signmarked on site.The recordings are stored on a secure server and deleted after 7 days.
