How to pay the fare tickets
Download the RuterBillett app to your mobile phone and buy a ticket anywhere and at any time. This is the easiest and cheapest way to buy a ticket.
Overseas bank card and phone number
The app works for overseas phone numbers, and is also available in English. Please note that PayPal can be a good alternative to bank card for international users. The same applies to Apple Pay for customers with an iOS device. You can only use Visa and MasterCard from some European countries. Please check Ruter's web page for further details.

Taxi services
Taxi services in Norway are expensive. Depending on which taxi company you choose, a taxi from the airport costs at least NOK 800,-. A taxi from Oslo Central Station to Kringsjå student village costs a minimum of NOK 400,-. Higher rates apply for evenings, nights and weekends.
