New students can apply for student housing through SiO (Student Welfare Organisation)
International students on UiOs housing priority list
Different rules apply to different target groups. Please read the information that is aimed at your student group.
- Exchange students on bachelor's or master's level
- International master's students from outside the EU/EEA area
- EU/EEA master's students applying by 1 March
Application deadline
- 1 June for students starting their studies in the autumn semester.
- 1 Novemberfor students starting their studies in the spring semester.
Application procedure
In order to be prioritised housing you must follow our guidelines:
Students without housing priority
Students that are not on UiOs housing priority list are welcome to apply for student housing through SiO.\ You will be on SiOs general waiting list and for any questions, please contact SiO housing.
- Student admitted through Samordna opptak (SO)
- Student attending NORA-courses
- Applicants residing in Norway and Nordic citizens who have applied for a Master's degree programme by 15 April
