#### Support for International Graduate Students Daily Life & Adjustment · Academics · Career Development (Administration Team, Graduate School · Student Counseling Center · Administration Team, University College)

OIH(Office of International House) is dedicated to expanding its support for international graduate students, helping them navigate daily life, adapt academically, and pursue career development.

- **DAILY LIFE & ADJUSTMENT SUPPORT**

| Adaptation | New-Student Orientation | Orientation for newly admitted international graduate students covering academics and daily campus life. Online option for students who have not yet arrived in Korea.  - **Period : March & September** |
| Campus-Life Guide  Videos & Handbook | Videos and a guidebook with tips from current students on campus life and career preparation.  - **Distributed during orientation.** |
| “Understanding Korean Law” Online Course | Helps students adapt smoothly to Korean life. Recognized as an “Excellent Institution” in the 2025 MOE Internationalization Competency Certification.  - **Period : Mar – Jul 2025 and Sep 2025 – Jan 2026** - **Delivery Method** : LMS lectures (completion required for grade release & scholarship eligibility) |
| International Graduate Student Counseling Center | Expanded psychological-counseling services for cultural adaptation and mental-health support.  - **Program Registration** : every April - **Program Format** : counselor–student sessions scheduled individually; one online (Zoom) session per student per year starting in May |
| Daily Life | I-GPS Supporters (International Graduate-Student Peer Support) | Supporters help peers with culture, everyday living, and community building  - **Program Registration** : twice a year (Apr – Jun & Sep – Dec) - **Period** : about 3 – 4 months - **Program Format** : Sports Club · Buddy Club · Research Club - **Benefits** : up to KRW 3 million scholarship based on activity evaluation; certificate of completion |
| KU SOUL TOUR (Academic & Cultural Excursions) | Relieves academic/life stress and deepens understanding of Korean culture.  - **Program Registration** : twice a year (May & September) - **Period** : Conducted twice a year - **Program Format** : visits to historical/cultural sites and company facilities selected via a pre-event survey |

| Korean-Language Thesis Writing Course | Strengthen thesis-writing competence suited to Korean academia, covering every step from research proposal to final submission with hands-on methodology training.  - **Program Registration** : Twice a year (Feb – Mar & Aug – Sep) - **Program Format** : 3-month course for Humanities/Social Sciences |
| Academic Mentoring Program | Pair international graduate students with Korean graduate students to promote academic as well as cultural exchange and ease academic adjustment.  - **Program Registration** : Recruitment held twice a year (Jan – Feb & Jul – Aug) - **Period** : Approximately 6 months - **Benefit** : Scholarship of KRW 1.5 – 3 million, based on participation |
| Language Exchange Program | Foster continuous cultural and academic exchange through language partnership between international graduate students and Korean students.  - **Program Registration** : Recruitment held four times a year (Apr – Jun, Jul – Sep, Sep – Dec, Dec – Feb) - **Period** : Approximately 2 – 3 months - **Benefit** : Scholarship of KRW 0.3 – 0.4 million |

| Job Fair – Global S&T HRD Forum (hosted by KIRD) | Give students access to the Global Science & Technology HRD Forum organized by KIRD (Korea Institute for Human Resources Development in Science & Technology).  - **Program Registration** : April & August 2025 (registration and sessions run by the host via Zoom). - **Program Format** : Held online via Zoom |

#### International Summer & Winter University (International Education Team)

Offer graduate-level courses taught by distinguished faculty from leading overseas universities, strengthening students’ international competencies.

- **Eligibility** : All graduate students (enrolled or on leave of absence)
- **Program Registration** : Recruitment twice a year

- Spring : Apr – May  · Fall: Oct – Nov
- Courses run during the summer and winter breaks

- **Benefit** : Tuition refund for participants who earn a grade of B or higher
