Student Counseling
The university fosters positive psychology and interpersonal relationships through psychological assessment and educational programs.
Graduate Student Tailored Psychological Support Program
In consideration of graduate students who have difficulty participating in psychological services during the day due to academic and research commitments, the university provides personalized psychological support services during evenings, online, and in single-session formats.
- Evening Individual Counseling
- Program Registration : Begins in April each year (rolling admission)
- Operation Period : April–February of the following year, weekly 50-minute sessions, up to 10 sessions total (Evenings 5:30 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m.)
- Location : Natural Sciences Counseling Center, Science Library Room 306 (Mon, Tue, Thu)
- Evening Group Counseling
- Program Registration : Twice a year (June and December)
- Operation Period : Twice a year (4 sessions total, 2 hours per session), July and the following January
- Emergency Stress Relief 1:1 Video Counseling: “Stress-Relief Counseling Booth”
- Program Registration : Twice a year (June–July, December)
- Operation Period : Twice a year (July–August, following January)
- Psychological Test Interpretation Program
- Program Registration : Twice a year (July, October)
- Operation Period : Twice a year (August, November)
- Special Lectures on Mental Health for Graduate Students
- Program Registration : April–December
- Operation Period : 7 sessions annually between April and December
- Psychological Support for International Graduate Students
- Program Registration : Every April
- Operation Period : May each year, One-time online counseling session (Zoom), with flexible scheduling between counselor and student
Graduate Student High-Risk Mental Health Management Program
- Provides personalized mental health reports based on AI and big data, following “My Mind Report” results
- For students identified as high-risk (e.g., mental health vulnerabilities or suicide risk), motivational interviews and further psychological service referrals are conducted
- Program Registration & Period : Twice a year (April–June, October–December)
Conflict Mediation for Graduate Students
Psychological services aimed at reducing conflict and improving relationships with peers, advisors, and other university members
- Program Registration & Period : March–February of the following year
Lab & Mind : Psychological Support for Research Labs
Strengthens communication and bonds between lab members
- Eligible Participants : Graduate students (enrolled, on leave, completed coursework), full-time/part-time faculty, and staff
- Program Registration & Period : April–January of the following year (first-come, first-served)
Ongoing Services by the Student Counseling Center
The Student Counseling Center offers individual counseling and psychological assessment programs on an ongoing basis. All counseling sessions are strictly confidential.
- Hours : Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. ~ 5:30 p.m.
