The UvA organises several career events in which organisations and companies can play a role. These events are an excellent opportunity to get in touch with the UvA, to present your company, and to meet students and graduates.

UvA Career Day

UvA Career Day, which takes place in November, is an event designed to inspire students and provide them with tools to kickstart their careers. The programme includes inspirational talks, workshops and case studies by internal and external parties, CV checks by professionals, and a LinkedIn photobooth. Organisations can participate by organising a workshop or case study. The event is visited by international and Dutch second- and third-year Bachelor’s and Master’s students.

International Talent Event Amsterdam (ITEA)

The International Talent Event Amsterdam (ITEA) co-organised by the UvA Student Careers Centre, and takes place in April. In the programme you’ll find workshops, company presentations, CV checks, keynote speakers, and a job fair. International students and recent graduates, both bachelor's and master's students, from a wide range of disciplines, including IT, business, finance, science, and marketing, visit the event. Participants are looking for both internships and entry-level jobs.

The is event is a collaboration between AIESEC, VU Amsterdam, and the UvA.

UvA Career Networking Events

The UvA Career Networking Events are a series of three informal networking sessions with a panel of international UvA alumni with a career in the Netherlands. The events take place on three evenings in April and May, and each event focuses on a specific industry. UvA alumni share the ins and outs of their career journey, the challenges they faced, and tips and tricks. Afterwards, they join in to network in several rounds with international students. Companies or organisations with an international UvA alumnus in their team can participate by being part of the panel.

Your own company events

UvA JobBoard is the vacancy platform for UvA students and recent graduates for internships, traineeships, entry-level jobs, and study-related side jobs. Companies and organisations with an account can also post their own career or networking events on the platform to invite UvA students and recent graduates and share information. Register your company to start uploading vacancies and posting events.
