Visiting the UvA? The UvA offers both open and secure bicycle parking facilities.

Bicycle parking facilities by campus

• Roeterseiland

The following parking facilities are available at the Roeterseiland campus:

• Building A: Large indoor facility with 4,000 spaces for bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds. Main entrance on Roetersstraat, marked with signs and flags.
• Building E: Indoor bicycle parking beneath Building E, accessible via the cycle route to Building L. Bicycle racks are also located next to Buildings E and H.
• Building J/K: Bicycle racks between CREA and Building J/K. At the rear of Building J/K, by the water, there is parking for cargo bikes.
• Building M: Indoor bicycle parking.
• Building P: Indoor bicycle parking.

Science Park offers space for approximately 2,000 bicycles, mopeds, and cargo bikes. There are uncovered bicycle racks at the front of the main building, and you can also park your bike underneath Building F.

The following parking facilities are available in the University Quarter:

• BG 3: Indoor bicycle parking.
• Bushuis/Oost-Indisch Huis: Indoor parking and uncovered bicycle racks along the canal.
• P.C. Hoofthuis: Indoor parking and uncovered bicycle racks in front of the building.
• University Library: Indoor bicycle parking, to the left of the entrance.

Parking bicycles, mopeds, and scooters in UvA facilities is always at your own risk. The UvA is not liable for damage, loss, or theft. If your bike has been removed from a municipal rack, please contact the Municipal Bicycle Depot.
