The University of Amsterdam and Amsterdam UMC, AMC location offer study programs in almost every recognized medical specialty within the Faculty of Medicine.
Amsterdam UMC is one of eight university medical centres in the Netherlands and one of the leading international centres in the field of academic medicine. As a university medical centre, Amsterdam UMC has three main tasks:
- treatment of patients
- academic medical research
- providing medical education
