## Application for teachers

Application deadline expired!

Teachers are invited to apply to the workshop. Hotel expenses will be covered for all participants of the workshop. Furthermore, travel scholarships will be awarded to ten selected participants.

**Workshop Application**

Teachers present a concept on how the integration of refugees in schools can work. Concepts will be presented either in a talk (20 min + 10 min discussion) or a poster (as part of the poster session). Teachers can apply for the workshop by submitting a concept. When preparing the concept, please follow the guidelines.

**Guidelines for submitting a concept (poster or talk):**

1. Please write a concept (in German) on how the integration of refugees in schools can work
2. The concept should be 500 words long
3. Add the following information below your abstract:

- Name
- Institution
- Presentation preference: a) talk, b) poster, c) no preference
- Whether or not you would like to apply for the travel scholarship

4. Submit your concept via email to **eduref.pse@hu-berlin.de until September 30, 2017**.

**Please** **note**

To best fit your concpet into the workshop program you may be asigned to a presentation format, other than the one you indicated in your application.

All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings and will be available on the homepage of the workshop.

Decision on acceptance of participation: October 15, 2017

## Application for junior scientists

Junior scientists are invited to apply to the workshop. Hotel expenses will be covered for all participants of the workshop. Furthermore, travel scholarships will be awarded to ten selected participants.

**Workshop application**

Junior scientists can present their research project either in a talk (20 min + 10 min discussion) or a poster (as part of the poster session). Junior scientists can apply for the workshop by submitting a scientific abstract. When preparing the abstract, please follow the guidelines.

**Guidelines for submitting an abstract (poster or talk):**

1. Please write a scientific abstract in English that describes your research project
2. Word limit for the abstract: 500 words (including title, authors and references)
3. Add the following information below your abstract:

- Name
- Institution
- Presentation preference: a) talk, b) poster, c) no preference
- Whether or not you would like to apply for the travel scholarship

4. Submit your abstract via email to **eduref.pse@hu-berlin.de until September 30, 2017**.
