Die PSE lädt herzlich zum Vortrag Educational Design Research in Teacher Education des Gastwissenschaftlers Prof. Dr. Ruben Vanderlinde (Universität Gent) ein.
Die Einladung richtet sich insbesondere an Studierende, die gerade ihr Lernforschungsprojekt planen, und an interessierte Gäste. Gerade bei der Entwicklung eigener Ideen wird der Vortrag von Prof. Dr. Vanderlinde hilfreich sein und daher ist die Teilnahme denjenigen Studierenden wärmstens empfohlen. Der Vortrag wird als Hybrid und auf Englisch gehalten.

Educational Design Research in Teacher Education Research: Concept and example

Educational Design Research becomes popular in educational research general, but not yet in teacher education research. Educational design research is a genre of research in which the iterative development of solutions to practical and complex educational problems provides the setting for scientific inquiry. The solutions can be educational products, processes, programs, or policies. Educational design research not only targets solving significant problems facing educational practitioners but at the same time seeks to discover new knowledge that can inform the work of others facing similar problems. This lecture presents the characteristics and phases of the design processes used in Educational Design Research, and an illustration of a concrete Educational Design Research project. In this project, clinical simulations were implemented in teacher education via Educational Design Research to support parent teacher conferences.
