# Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin - Albrecht Daniel Thaer-Institute of Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences

Research projects at the Albrecht Daniel Thaer-Institute for Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences (Thaer-Institute) at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU) may raise ethical issues.

To evaluate such ethical aspects, the Institute Council of the Thaer Institute has adopted [ethics guidelines](https://www.agrar.hu-berlin.de/de/institut/gremien/ethikkommission-1/richtlinie) and has set up the Ethics Committee of the Thaer-Institute for Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

On February 5th, 2025, the Institute Council of the Thaer-Institute appointed the following members of the Ethics Committee for the period from February 05, 2025 to February 05, 2027:
