Master's degree programmes

Our postgraduate Master's degree programmes are aimed at professionals with a first university degree and at least one year of subject-related professional experience. The high practical and research relevance of the programme content guarantees a transfer of learning to professional topics and issues and thus opens up new career prospects. You can study the following postgraduate Master's programmes and a State Examination programme at Humboldt-Universität:

State training programme in Psychological Psychotherapy

Admission requirements Diploma or Master's degree in the Psychology degree programme, whereby the subject Clinical Psychology must have been a subject of study and examination

Tuition fees The training fees currently amount to 13,680 euros (including group self-experience and supervision). In addition, there are costs for individual self-experience (at least 10 hours).

German in a multilingual context

Admission requirements Students of Humboldt-Universität who have acquired knowledge in at least two areas of theoretical linguistics and/or applied linguistics of German and/or other languages totalling at least 20 credit points are admitted.

International Cooperation for Sustainable Development

Characteristic information

Duration 1 year (January to December)
Start of programme January
Admission requirements A completed university or university of applied sciences degree (Master's, Diplom, state examination, doctorate) with at least good grades that qualifies for a doctorate at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. The Master's degree must be available by the start of the SLE programme (beginning of January) and is a prerequisite for enrolment at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Internships, work and study placements in one or more countries Above-average interest in development policy and high motivation for the additional training programme. Fluency in English. Further good knowledge is an advantage, especially of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, German, French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish. Health suitability for stays in countries of the Global South with possibly limited health care and higher health risks. Personal suitability for the SLE postgraduate programme.
