## Texas A&M agribusiness, agricultural economics programs receive top rankings
Texas A&M’s [Department of Agricultural Economics](https://agecon.tamu.edu/) in the [College of Agriculture and Life Sciences](https://aglifesciences.tamu.edu/) is marking its 100th anniversary. It is also celebrating the fact that three separate and independent entities that rank institutions of higher learning based on a wide range of criteria have placed it among the nation’s top choices.

## Meet Students in the Rister ’74 Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program
This section highlights students who are active in the Dianne & M. Edward Rister ’74 Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program. They are motivated to learn how to create business plans, launch businesses, and conduct in-depth financial and economic analyses on business ventures. Some students are current business owners or have plans of launching businesses. Others are taking advantage of the program to gain more exposure to entrepreneurship and business acumen to guide their careers post-graduation. These stories showcase their experiences.
