Coming Back to School?
\ The pursuit of knowledge doesn’t end after earning your bachelor’s degree for some students. Prospective students looking for a second bachelor’s degree to broaden their horizons or change their career path can find a home at Texas A&M University.\ \ You are a post-baccalaureate undergraduate applicant if you already have a bachelor's degree and wish to engage in further study at the undergraduate level with the end goal of obtaining a second bachelor’s degree.\ \ Most graduate information is specific to different colleges and programs. Make sure to reach out to the department you’re applying to for specific admissions information such as deadlines and required documents.\ \ \
What do I need to apply?
\ All required documents must be received, not postmarked, by Admissions Processing by the appropriate closing date.\ \
Admission Application
Post-baccalaureate candidates should apply using the Common App for Transfer. Students may also apply through the ApplyTexas transfer application. The application you choose will not affect your admission decision. Only one application per student.
Non-Refundable $75 Application Fee
A $75 non-refundable processing fee is required to complete your application.\ Please note: If you apply using ApplyTexas you will not be able to pay your fee within the application. You must follow the steps below.\
- Watch your email for a message from Application@tamu.edu. This email will be sent 24-48 hours after you submit your application.
- Follow the directions in the email to access your UIN and activate your NetID.
- Login to applicant.tamu.edu to pay or waive your fee.

Official Transcripts

Submit a statement expressing why you are pursuing enrollment at Texas A&M and what the opportunity would do for your personal and professional development.

Overnight or Hand Delivery

What happens after I apply?
\ Priority is given to qualified applicants seeking their initial bachelor's degree — therefore, post-baccalaureate undergraduate admission may be limited or may not be available. As a reminder, the following colleges DO NOT consider post-baccalaureate admission:\ \
- Bush School of Government and Public Service
- College of Engineering
- College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences
- Mays Business School
- School of Public Health
\ Consideration for Admission:\ \
- GPA (grade point average) on college coursework;
- Completion of prerequisite coursework; and
- Information presented in the application.

Aggie Code of Honor
Acts of Dishonesty
"An Aggie does not lie, cheat or steal nor tolerate those who do."
The Aggie Code of Honor is a way of life and a tool our admissions team uses to judge prospective students. Those who have lived the Aggie Code of Honor long before they knew it was the Aggie Code of Honor will fit in perfectly at Texas A&M. Applicants found to have misrepresented themselves or submitted false information on the application will receive appropriate disciplinary action.
In accordance with Texas A&M student rule 24.4.1, acts of dishonesty include but are not limited to:
- Withholding material information from the University, misrepresenting the truth during a University investigation or student conduct conference, and/or making false statements to any University official.
- Furnishing false information to and/or withholding information from any University official, faculty member, or office.
- Forgery, alteration, or misuse of any University document, record, or instrument of identification.

The submission of false information at the time of admission or readmission is ground for rejection of the application, withdrawal of any offer of acceptance, cancellation of enrollment, dismissal or other appropriate disciplinary action.
