The agricultural industry is more globalized than ever and recruiters are looking for employees who are able to work in diverse business environments. ## France Agribusiness: From the Farm to the Table

Through partnership with Texas A&M, the Federation des Ecoles Superieures d’Ingenieurs en Agriculture (FESIA) offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to experience the French way of life and to learn about the culture of food production and consumption in France. During a month-long trip, the students are exposed to a series of lectures on specifics of food production, processing, and distribution in France. **This opportunity is no longer available.**

### Program Highlights

- Lectures from agricultural specialists and faculty on French agribusiness topics.
- Learn about key agriculture-related policy issues in the European Union and contrast those with U.S. policies.
- Field trips to farms, plants, and companies in the food industry.
- Tours in Paris and other regions featuring visits to famous monuments, with an optional weekend in Normandy.

### Program Requirements

- Maintain 2.5 cumulative GPA until program start
- Remain in [good academic and conduct standing](https://student-rules.tamu.edu/rule12/)
- Attend at all program-specific meetings
- Meet with faculty member as part of the application requirement

All students are required to take a **total of 6 credit hours** to participate in the program. Students should meet with their academic advisors to ensure they meet eligibility requirements and that the courses are degree applicable.
