Order Official Texas A&M University Transcripts
Current and former students may order their official academic transcript online through the National Student Clearinghouse’s Myhub website. Texas A&M University uses the National Student Clearinghouse’s “FASTEST” NextGen API solution transcript service for processing PDF transcripts and NSC SecurePrint for most mailed transcript orders. \ \ Current Students\ There are two ways for current students to request an official transcript or enrollment verification.
- Login to Howdy(https://howdy.tamu.edu/). Search for Transcripts.
- Click the Official Transcriptcard and it will take you to the National Student Clearinghouse portal. In Myhub, click on Self Service and then click on the Order Transcriptbutton.
- If having trouble accessing Howdy, please contact the Help Desk Central at https://it.tamu.edu/help/.

- Log directly into Myhub.org with yourTexas A&M Single SignOn username and password
\ Former Students\ There are two ways for former students to request an official transcript. Please note that there will be an average 3-5 business day processing period on transcripts requested for former students enrolled prior to fall 1985 at Texas A&M or fall 2009 for the College of Dentistry. These records must be reproduced from digitized or microfilm records.
- Log directly into Myhub.org using one of the social login options for LinkedIn or Google accounts. In Myhub, click on Self Service and then click on the Order Transcriptbutton for Texas A&M University.
- Additional details regarding creating an account and ordering an official transcript can be found on the Myhub and National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Information page.
- Official PDF transcripts can only be ordered through this online ordering option.
- If you are unable to login, please contact the National Student Clearinghouse for assistance with MyHub

- Order official transcripts using the Transcript Order form.
- The order form can ONLY be submitted to our office via FAX, mail, or in person.
- We cannot accept this form via email due to payment card industry data security standards.
- We cannot accept credit card information by phone or email.
- Official PDF transcripts cannot be ordered through this option. The electronic option on the form is only for EDI/SPEEDE transcripts sent to participating schools.

Take the Following into Consideration
- Students with active transcript holds will NOT be allowed to submit an order for an official transcript until the hold has been resolved.
- Consult with transcript recipients to verify they will accept transcripts via the intended delivery method. Transcript recipients may not accept transcripts via all delivery methods available and it is the student’s responsibility to confirm the transmission method chosen is acceptable.
- Review the list of Institutions Receiving Texas A&M University Electronic Transcripts (pdf) from Texas A&M University through the SPEEDE server.
- Track the status of any order, find answers to FAQ’s and the contact information for support at National Student Clearinghouse My Student Center.
Transcripts with Holds
Students with active transcript holds will not be allowed to submit an order for an official transcript until the hold has been resolved with the appropriate office or other arrangements have been made.Students may check for transcript holds in Howdy. Former Students
Former students may access an unofficial transcript, HTML or PDF version, through Howdy by clicking on the Academic Record option under My Record in the expanded left-hand column located in the gray bar of Howdy.****\ \ If you forget your NetID or it is expired, visit the IT Self Service Knowledge Base article regarding Resetting a Forgotten NetID Password for help.\ \ For information regarding former student account activation, visit the IT Self Service Knowledge Base article.\ \
- Former students who have not been enrolled in the past two years - To access Howdy and view an unofficial transcript, individuals may need to reactivate their Howdy account by completing the Former Student Questionnaire. Please note, this process could take a week to reactivate your Howdy account.Once reactivated, former students can view their unofficial transcript online in Howdy.
- Former students with access to Howdy may check for transcript holds in Howdy through the My Dashboard card in the top, right hand corner . It is the student's responsibility to clear transcript holds. Please visit the Checking for Holds page for more general information related to holds and how to find them.
\ NOTE: The following former students will NOT be able to access their unofficial transcripts online:
- Texas A&M University students who attended prior to Fall 1985
- School of Law students who attended prior to fall 2013 *
- Baylor College of Dentistry students who attended prior to fall 2009
* Former students of the Law School who were enrolled prior to the fall 2013 semester, while it operated under Texas Wesleyan School of Law, will need to request an unofficial transcript from the Texas Wesleyan University's Registrar's Office.\ \ Former students who are unable to access their unofficial transcript online may request an unofficial transcript by submitting a signed request in writing or by submitting a completed and signed Transcript Request Form to the Office of the Registrar. There is no charge for an unofficial transcript. Transcript staff will only release an unofficial transcript to the student via in-person, mail, or fax. The Office of the Registrar WILL NOT email an unofficial transcript.\ \

Parents/Guardians who have been authorized by a student to have access to academic information in Howdy may also view the student's unofficial PDF transcript.

What is an Official Transcript?
An official transcript is a comprehensive record of a student's academic progress at Texas A&M University*. In other words, a student's official Texas A&M University transcripts includes academic credit awarded to the student at all levels of study (undergraduate, graduate, and professional). Partial transcripts are not available. Transcripts contain confidential information and are released only in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA). Transcripts may not be redisclosed without written permission from the student.\ \ * Students of the Law School who enrolled during the fall 2013 semester and beyond may obtain a Texas A&M University transcript containing their professional law school level academic history included. Former students of the Law School who were enrolled prior to the fall 2013 semester, while it operated under Texas Wesleyan School of Law, will need to order an official transcript from the Texas Wesleyan University's Registrar's Office.\ \ Students of the Health Science Center (HSC) may obtain a Texas A&M University transcript containing their HSC academic history included. As of July 15, 2013, the Texas A&M Health Science Center was officially added as an academic unit under the administration of Texas A&M University.

- Texas A&M University undergraduate students seeking to enroll in another Texas public college or university and needs to send the institution an official transcript for admissions or transfer credit purposes are strongly encouraged to order their official Texas A&M University transcript and request the inclusion of the information printed in the transcript addendum.\ \
- Any undergraduate student who enrolled at Texas A&M University for the 1995-1996 or later may request the transcript addendum information to be included on an official transcript.\ \
- Please note: Undergraduate students enrolled prior to 1995 or students who only have graduate or professional level credit hours completed at Texas A&M University will not have core curriculum information in our student information system and therefore should not request the transcript addendum information to be included on their official transcripts.
What is an Unofficial Transcript?
An unofficial Texas A&M University transcript is a comprehensive advising record of a student's academic progress at Texas A&M University*. How much does a Transcript Cost?
Official transcripts cost $10. However, other processing and special service fees may apply. Unofficial transcripts are accessible in Howdy free of charge.
What is Myhub?
Myhub is a secure portal offered by the National Student Clearinghouse where students can access their verified academic records from all participating schools as well as requesting official Texas A&M University transcripts and enrollment certifications. Current and former students may access Myhub to access their enrollment records and request official transcripts.\ \ Additional information about Myhub can be found at our Myhub & National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Information webpage and https://help.studentclearinghouse.org/myhub/.
Incomplete Transcript Order Policy
Related to transcript orders that cannot be processed due to incomplete request or other issues with the academic record.
\ Online Orders\ Transcript orders submitted through the National Student Clearinghouse will be automatically canceled after 30 days when a student has not returned the required signed consent form and did not provide an online signed consent when placing the order. Other transcript orders not completed within 30 days, and do not have a future transcript processing option selected, will be canceled as well. For additional answers related to orders placed through the National Student Clearinghouse, please visit https://nscsso.my.site.com/student/s/topic/0TO2M000000NDc8WAG/transcripts.\ \ Transcript Order Forms\ When an issue is discovered, staff will make one attempt to contact the student via phone or email. Checks can only be maintained for 48 hours and will be returned if the issue is not resolved in that time frame. Other incomplete orders will be held for 30 days. Failure to resolve the issue will result in the transcript request being cancelled. Credit card orders will be cancelled at the end of the 30-day holding period.
Resending Official Transcripts
Online Orders\ Students who ordered PDF transcripts through the National Student Clearinghouse can resend the transcript link to the recipient from the Transcript Order Status page up to 3 times within 30 days from when the transcript was resent. Requests for other delivery options should check the Transcript Order Status page first and can email transcript@tamu.edu. Once 30 days have passed after the day the original transcript was sent, students will need to reorder an official transcript.\ \ Transcript Order Forms\ If a student's official transcript has not yet arrived to the authorized recipient after 15 calendar days from the date the transcript was sent, students may request for their official transcript to be resent one time free of charge by emailing transcript@tamu.edu. The resent transcript must be sent to the same recipient address as specified on the original transcript request. Once 30 days have passed after the day the original transcript was sent, students will need to reorder an official transcript.
Canceling Orders
Online Orders
Students who order their official transcript online through Myhub may cancel their order for an official transcript if they request the cancellation prior to the order being in an uploaded, pending, or sent status through the National Student Clearinghouse. As we use their Next-Gen Integrated API transcript service, most official transcripts being sent via PDF or mailed through NSC SecurePrint are processed within 10-15 minutes of the order submission. To request cancellation of an online order, send an email to recordsadmin@tamu.edu providing the student’s full name, recipient name, and transcript order number.

If the transcript order status is either “Electronic Transcript Uploaded,” “Print Pending,” “Transcript Processed Offline,” or “Sent,” the order cannot be canceled.
Transcript Order Forms**Students who order their official transcript through a traditional transcript request order form may request their order be canceled up until the transcript order has been processed and the transcript mailed and/or picked up from our office. Students not able to request their order be canceled in person may email recordsadmin@tamu.edu requesting their order be canceled by providing their full student name, recipient name, and how they submitted the order form (in person or via mail/fax).
