If you are receiving veterans’ education benefits you are also eligible to apply for scholarships administered by Texas A&M University, including those offered by Scholarships & Financial Aid, academic departments and colleges, the Texas A&M Foundation, and other scholarship awarding units.\

In addition, you are also eligible to apply for military scholarships administered by the University, as well as external entities. You must apply for scholarships in order to be considered. You are not considered for scholarships based on attendance at Texas A&M or your use of veterans’ education benefits. We encourage you to submit a copy of your DD214 or military transcript via the [Applicant Information System](https://applicant.tamu.edu/) to confirm your veterans status with the University. \
\
In order to provide the most opportunity to the greatest number of students, Texas A&M typically does not stack veteran/spouse/dependent scholarships. If you qualify for more than one military-affiliated scholarship you will receive the highest dollar-value scholarship unless there are no other qualifying students, in which case, the most competitive applicants may receive multiple funds.\

### Incoming Freshman

Incoming freshman can apply for scholarships through the [Common App](https://www.commonapp.org/) or [Apply Texas](https://www.applytexas.org/). You must complete all the scholarship questions and submit them by December 1.\
\

### Transfer Students

Transfer students can apply for scholarships through the [Common App](https://www.commonapp.org/) or [Apply Texas](https://www.applytexas.org/).\
\

### Graduate Students

Incoming graduate students should contact the department they are entering for scholarship, fellowship, and assistantship opportunities.\
\

### Current Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Continuing students may apply for Texas A&M scholarships using the [University Scholarship Application](http://uwide.tamu.edu/).\
