**The first 15 working days of preregistration the system is open Monday – Friday 24 hours a day (excluding holidays).**

Students can check in [Howdy](https://howdy.tamu.edu) (approximately mid-to-late March for Summer/Fall registration or mid-October for Spring registration) to view their assigned registration times for both Galveston and College Station. Students registering for Galveston courses will do so in accordance with the [Galveston registration schedule](https://tamug.edu/admissions/Records/UG_Registration_Schedules.html). Students registering for College Station courses will do so in accordance with the College Station registration schedule below.\

**Prior to the start of pre-registration, prior to each new registration cycle, students should do the following:**\

- Log into Howdy and search for the **Registration Readiness** card
  - Contact the offices that placed registration holds to determine what is needed in order to remove the holds PRIOR to the student's pre-registration date.
- Complete the **Location Update** for the term the student is registering for (i.e. College Station, Galveston, Qatar, etc.)
- Complete the **Terms of Use** acknowledgement for the term the student is registering for (i.e. College Station, Galveston, Qatar, etc.)\

**Registration Tutorial Videos and Guides are available in Howdy to assist students in preparing for registration.**\
Log into Howdy > search for the **Aggie Schedule Builder** card > select from a list of available tutorial videos
