International Student Financial Aid

\

**Beginning the 2026-2027 academic year, the TASFA will replace the ISFAA for international students at Texas A&M University**

\

International student financial aid is based on financial need, not academic performance. This aid is intended to supplement a student’s existing funds and does not cover all educational costs. Funding for international aid is limited and not guaranteed. Eligibility requirements for specific types of aid are listed below.

Apply for Aid

International students may be considered for state financial aid or institutional aid from Texas A&M by submitting the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA). Scholarships & Financial Aid reviews TASFA information to determine eligibility for funds.

The TASFA may be submitted online or by paper form. The online version is strongly recommended. The TASFA should be completed once each academic year. One submission applies to all semesters within that academic year. A new application is not required each semester.

International students should submit the TASFA by the recommended submission dates below.
