# Continuing Student Scholarships

\
The Association of Former Students’ Board of Directors established the Aggie Ring Scholarship Program in October 2009. Through special giving opportunity, former students and friends of Texas A&M can ensure that eligible students receive the financial resources to obtain their Aggie Ring by applying for a scholarship through the University Scholarship Application. The University Scholarship Application opens October 15 of each year and closes each year on February 1. Funds awarded will be for the next academic year.\
\
In order to be considered for the Aggie Ring Scholarship Program you must answer the Aggie Ring question located on the University Scholarship Application: <https://uwide.tamu.edu/>.\
\
*Do you anticipate receiving your Aggie Ring in September, November, or April?*\
\
Scholarships & Financial Aid will then check to see if the student qualifies to order his or her Aggie Ring during one of the three Aggie Ring presentation times. Aggie Ring scholarships are not guaranteed as funding is limited. There are approximately 5500 students that apply for the Aggie Ring scholarship each year. Approximately 100 Aggie Ring scholarships are given out each year.\
\
For more information regarding eligibility for your Aggie Ring, please visit the [Aggie Ring website](http://www.aggienetwork.com/ring).
